During the 2022 and 2023 baseball seasons, I freelanced as a promo editor for Marquee Sports Network, the regional sports network for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Sky.

 

The work covered brand identity spots (play/player highlights), social media identity spots, and non-game programming tune ins.

The workflow consisted of the director and coordinator presenting a tagline to me. I would then build a promo around that concept with footage from the broadcasts, studio shows, or other b-roll.
